I stumbled upon this piece over a month ago. I didn't finish reading it but the part I read had me in check. With what I read I decided, and actually did reduce my usage of emojis drastically. I think I see what you see – we should be able to convey our thoughts and emotions with our words (and gestures if permissible) if not of what purpose was/is school?
I also enjoyed the humor in this writing. I smiled about six times while reading it again today. Gorgeous work man. And to think of it, I probably would have used about four emojis in this short epistle of mine had I not read your work lol.
One of the expressions of emojis I loathe so much is combination of the "Tears of Joy" emoji and a broken heart emoji. This here(😂💔). I loathed it so much; I don't even know what it means.

let me confess: i have read this too many times.
thank you!
This piece has persuaded me, and from today hence forth, I will stop using emojis.
Same, it really did. Although I doubt I would stop, I would be sensibly moderate.
